By downloading or using Wish & Went, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Wish & Went is a personal travel journal and AI-powered day planner that lets you save, revisit, and review places you have visited or want to visit, discover new places through AI suggestions, and create itineraries for your day. The service is provided "as is" and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at support@wishwent.com.
You retain ownership of any content you create within Wish & Went (places, reviews, tags, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content. By default, your saved places and reviews are visible to users who follow you. You can restrict this visibility using the privacy settings in your Profile.
Wish & Went includes an optional follow system. Free accounts may follow up to 1 user. Pro accounts may follow unlimited users. When you follow another user, you can view their public places and reviews. Users can set their Wishlist and Went List to private (a Pro feature), in which case that content will not be visible to their followers. You can remove a follower at any time by blocking or adjusting your privacy settings.
You agree not to misuse the service — including but not limited to attempting to access systems you are not authorised to access, submitting spam or malicious content, or reverse-engineering any part of the application.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Upon deletion, your personal data and all associated content will be permanently removed within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used in a harmful or abusive manner.
Wish & Went is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that place data sourced from third-party providers (e.g. Mapbox) will always be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wish & Went shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Wish & Went offers an optional Pro subscription. Pro features include: unlimited tags, attaching a photo to each review, following unlimited users (free accounts are limited to 1 follow), setting your Wishlist and Went List as private, AI-powered place suggestions, Plan My Day (AI-generated day itineraries, subject to monthly credit limits), and access to the Top Collectors leaderboard. Leaderboard participation is opt-in; you can enable or disable your visibility at any time from Profile → Privacy. Billing and refunds are handled exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play via RevenueCat. We do not process payments directly. By upgrading, you agree to the relevant store's purchase terms and RevenueCat's Terms of Service.
Wish & Went Pro includes AI-powered features (AI Suggestions and Plan My Day) that use Google's Gemini AI service to generate place recommendations and day itineraries. These features are provided for convenience and inspiration only. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated — including incorrect opening hours, place availability, or routing. Timelines and itineraries are indicative; you should adjust them to your needs. You are solely responsible for verifying information before acting on it. Wish & Went makes no warranty as to the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated suggestions or plans. AI credits are subject to monthly limits; unused credits do not roll over.
By using Wish & Went you agree to the collection of usage analytics through PostHog. We use this data solely to improve the app. You may opt out by contacting us at support@wishwent.com. See our Privacy Policy for full details of what is collected.
